The Šalek Valley is undergoing a major green transition, with HSE and TEŠ leading investments in floating solar power, hydrogen technology, and district heating restructuring, aiming to reduce emissions, create jobs, and ensure Slovenia’s sustainable energy future.

HSE and the municipalities of Trbovlje and Hrastnik have signed a renewable energy cooperation agreement, ensuring 10% of Prapretno solar plant’s electricity is supplied at cost price for public institutions, marking a major step in Slovenia’s green transition.
